Numbers

Numbers can be subjective & personal. There are set numbers and patterns repeated in the Bible. Start there first.

If you think about it, the entire computer world is based off of the 1, 0, binary code.

Evil spirits can send numbers too. Be careful.

Three, 3 – Three is the minimum number necessary to establish a pattern. Something can happen once by chance; twice by coincidence; but three consecutive times usually indicate a pattern. For example, Samuel heard his name called three times before Eli confirmed that it was God calling Samuel (I Samuel 3:8).

The Earth is in Active Labor – Active labor (the time you should come into the hospital) is usually characterized by strong contractions that last 45 to 60 seconds and occur three to four minutes apart.

When we are expecting confirmation concerning a certain act, it is good news to know that when something happens three times, it points to greater fulfillment yet to unfold. Joseph kept his brothers in prison three days to test them. Jesus was buried and rose on the 3rd day (resurrection, new life).

Four, 4 – It is the number of material completeness. The number 4 represents creation, which marks God’s creative works. It is the signature of the world. The Earth is approximately 4 times bigger in diameter than the diameter of the Moon. The material creation was finished on the 4th day — with the sun, moon and stars ordained for 4 things:

  • Signs
  • Seasons
  • Days
  • Years

It is a number of punishment for the wicked (Numbers 14:18, Deut 5:9). It is the first number which is not a “prime,” the first which can be divided. There are four winds & four corners of the earth Jeremiah 49:36.  The gatekeepers are on four sides, north/south, east/west (1 Chronicles 9:24). There are 4 directions of the cross.

444 – Many people believe this reprents the saints meeting the Lord in the air aka the rapture.

42 – The meaning of life

832 – Jesus is more than enough
