Slaying Demons & the Narrow Path

This is a 2 part dream received Dec 8th 2020: The scene opened with me and a married Christian couple loading large homemade equipment into the back of an old pick up truck. One was a bicycle type machine powered by peddling and had a weaponized piece attached to it that threw small iron spheres. I complimented her on the cleverness of it thinking I might want to build something similar. As we were loading up a man approached us. He wanted to sell us airline tickets to our destination, “these are cheap tickets, only $15 and you will get there much faster”. I thought to myself, why yes they are very affordable and calculated the round trip for our destination there and back. I also pulled out a map to see the distance we were about to travel and noticed it was just a short drive, less than 2 hours away. The map showed us moving one direction and there was no thought of a return. After reviewing our journey, I determined the drive would be better. Even though the flight would be short and the cost cheap, we didn’t want the tickets after all.

The Narrow and Wide Gates

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Matthew 7:13-14

Part 2

We were walking thru a large building down a corridor. Our demeanor was intense as we came upon a large room with a wide opening that rounded out towards us. Leading up to the room as I was walking I felt great power fall upon me. It gave me strength and I was strong and bold. Suddenly a huge demon that stood as tall as the building stood up and charged to attack us. This demon was light brown in appearance and very muscular. Its flesh appeared like that of a dog with short brown fur covering its entire body. The demons height and build compared me at about 1/4 of its size. I began rebuking this demon by the power of Jesus. Each time I spoke these words this demon creature was pushed back further into the room it attacked from. It continued to respond to the power of these words until it was subdued.

We continued down the corridor when immediately upon us was another room with a second demon just as large as the first. This demon rose up to attack. It was similar in size about two stories tall. However this demon was dressed in court room attire and wore the  long, curled, full-bottom white wig judges use to wear back in the late 1700’s – 1800’s. This was a demon in the court. The power of God rose up within me and I felt strong in faith. Again, I rebuked this demon, “in Jesus name I rebuke you” and each time I said this, the demon would pull back as if he was being hit by the power of God. This time, other scriptures starting coming to mind and I would speak them directly towards the demon

“no weapon formed against me shall prosper, when the enemy comes in like a flood, the spirit of the Lord will raise a standard against you, greater is He that is in me, then he who is in the world, Satan get the behind me, resist the devil and he will flee.”

The power and boldness that was in me felt incredible. I further spoke, “…every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.” Song burst forth and I wanted to start praising the Lord.

We continued our journey towards a third room with a third demon but this time was different. The man traveling with me ran into the room before the demon could charge out to attack us. The third demon would not get the opportunity to make its offensive move. Instead, the man went before me on the attack and charged into the next room speaking the word of God in boldness and in heavenly power. I woke up battling Satan and praising the Lord.

Commentary – This dream is multi-layered with personal meaning and national meaning as well. With all that America is facing, we must be filled with power from on high to fight the good fight and slay these demons. Though they are big in appearance God is greater!

1 Samuel 17:47 “All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.”
