A few years ago I started receiving a sign. I noticed this number 832 everywhere. I would see it in tv shows, on house numbers where I would visit, in totals on receipts, in random passing cars, just everywhere! Through revelation, 832 came to be known as “Jesus is more than enough” for me.
I went through a season when I would cringe at seeing 832 because I understood it also meant there would be no natural means for my “rescue”. I am smart. I am well educated. I am strong and yet; my enormous efforts and strength of my own arm would not be enough to save me. I eventually learned there would be provision during difficult places in my life but NO hope of deliverance from the storms that raged on around me. In leu of miraculous rescue, Jesus would walk with me through the storm as I faced false accusations, financial ruin and closed doors. In fact, the enemy would go to great lengths to shame me. My identity of a strong, successful well-respected woman would temporarily be taken from me. My life wallet had been robbed! (I had a dream about that too!)
These are the times in life when the scriptures go from words on a page to my unfailing comfort and hope. Job’s suffering proves he was not rejected by God, he did not deserve the devastations that set out to destroy him. Rather, God loved Job so much that Satan challenged God’s chosen one. Read Job 1:6-12. Even Job’s friends got it all wrong. They knew some truths about God but they were clearly wrong about Job’s battles and God’s timing.
If you are struggling today, let God’s words be true and every man’s a liar. God wants us to rely on him above our wealth and our own strength. Now when I see 832 I know he is reminding me that yes, Jesus is enough! He is the rock which you stand. Your identity is found in what God thinks of you, not the world. Continue to keep your eyes on God’s truths. Remain humble and trust the Lord while you wait. The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy, but God comes to give life to its fullest ~ John 10:10. Don’t worry too much about your trials today because, when it is time, God will restore to you double for your trouble. Job received back a double portion of all that was taken from him.
After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before. All his brothers and sisters and everyone who had known him before came and ate with him in his house. They comforted and consoled him over all the trouble the Lord had brought on him, and each one gave him a piece of silver and a gold ring.
The Lord blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the former part.
Job 42:10-12
Notes*
8 represents new beginnings. My new beginning would prove to be trusting God vs myself, wealth or others. I quickly found how this exercise would need to be repeated, over and over. I have been given a new understanding of my savior.
32 represents 1 day over the amount of days (28-31) in any given month on the Gregorian calendar, so if 28-31 is “just enough” then 32 = more than enough.
The conclusion of 832 = Jesus, he is more than enough!
